Public service has always been at the heart of Curt Soehl’s life.

As a retired firefighter, Curt dedicated his career to protecting lives and property and serving his community. Following his time in the fire service, he spent decades helping families and businesses as an insurance professional before serving two successful terms on the Sioux Falls City Council.

Throughout every chapter of his career, Curt has earned a reputation for thoughtful leadership, fiscal responsibility, and bringing people together to solve problems—not create them.

Now, Curt is ready to bring that same servant leadership to the Minnehaha County Commission.
